Feb 1, 2013

January brought a lot of activity for us.

TISH

Tish has continued home schooling as well as leading two ladies Bible studies. One for missionary ladies and another for the ladies at R Church. She has done some counseling for a few folks that needed it and is also making progress on her doctorate.

KIDS

The kids are doing well in their studies and are also helping out once a week at Mazapan tutoring under-priveleged kids in English. As I am writing this our youngest, Eli, is recovering from a mild concussion he got today after falling out of a tree. Please pray for a quick and fast recovery.

TRAVIS

Travis continues to preach on Sunday at the R Church and on Wednesdays at Calvary Chapel. He is also meeting with a number of members for counseling as needed. One in particular is Harrison’s brother George. Harrison is the young man that passed away in December. George is 16 years old and has lost all his immediate family. Two brothers, mother and father, grandparents. He is struggling and has decided that he would like to know God better. Praise God! Travis is meeting with him to help him transition from a life away from God to one in relationship with Him. Please pray for him as He grows in Christ.

COFFEE BUSINESS

We have started selling our Roatan Java coffee and have been able to get two people working and will have a third person employed part time next week to help out. It is not much but some of the stores are starting to carry it and friends and family have blessed us by buying it. We will be bringing about 30 bags back with us when we come back to the states February 16 through March 2.

We are all looking forward to catching up with friends and family in Tennessee. While we miss home (except for the cold weather) we know we are where God wants us.

En Cristo,

Travis, Tish, Ella, Zachary, Heather and Eli
