Nov 20, 2014

We have been hesitant to ask for your support directly but we have a number of projects we believe God has opened the doors for. The timing is urgent and we need your prayers and financial support to see them accomplished.

Current projects - we need you!
Thank you prayer warriors and generous supporters!
COLONIA CHURCH - We have received our permit for a church in the largest poor area in the colonia. The vision is to build a church/ community center/storm shelter for this area. We have $8000 given/pledged out of a total of $18,000 estimated to complete. We hope to break ground in the next two weeks and are trusting God to provide the additional funding. We would like to get as much done before rainy season hits in November. Would you consider partnering with us to complete this project?
Dump Ministry Water Project - Thanks to a generous donation from several of our Indiana partner churches we have the funding to build a water station for the folks who live and work at the dump. We are waiting for final approval from the land owner so please pray that we are able to get this soon as the need is great.
Every gift, no matter the size is precious to us and
will be used to the highest possible good.
Thank you in advance for your partnership with us.
All gifts are tax-deductible.

PRINCESSA GETS SOME NEW WHEELS!

Special thanks goes out to Ron and Casey Holt from Wesley UMC in Indiana who brought all the funding for the dump ministry water project, treats for our kids, and a really special gift for a special child in the colonia. Princessa is 3 years old and is blind, deaf and paralyzed. Her mom carries her wherever she goes and she only has a bed to lie on in her "house". Her house is no bigger than a closet and covered with tin with many holes you can see through. Ron and Casey brought down a new stroller with large wheels to tackle her large hill. This will allow her to sit up more and be more mobile as she gets bigger. Please continue to pray for Princessa and her young mom. She recently spent three days in the public hospital (where pict above was taken) due to an infection.

OLIVER'S BROKEN ARM UPDATE
Olliver is all healed up and will be getting the pins removed this week! The arm was examined last week and is in great shape. I know one young man that can't wait to be done with that cast. Thanks again to all who supported him and helped provide financially for his operation! His mom says to tell you thank you from the bottom of her heart! She is so grateful as without you he would have never been able to use his arm again.

Tish Ministry Update
Tish continues to work with the Children's home in Sandy Bay doing therapy and as a board member. The rest of the board (mostly from Pennsylvania) will be coming in town for meetings the first week of October. She and the board will be working on funding for the home, developing the aging out program, and working on the development of the school onsite at the home. Please pray for the Children's home and consider becoming a monthly sponsor. You can see lots of info at sblmroatan.org.

Kids Update
Home school is back in session but the kids are keeping busy with ministry projects as well. Zachary is now leading the Children's Church and doing an excellent job. The VanZee family has moved to the island has come alongside Ella in leading worship and is a true blessing to our family and R Church. Ella is volunteering at the clinic and has also started her own bakery catering business. Eli and Heather help volunteer with the orphanage and at the clinic as well as at the Dump Ministry.

Travis
R Church continues to grow and expand. We had over 110 at our Potluck and we are excited about what is happening in our small fellowship. In addition to preaching, construction and evangelism, he is also teaching bi-lingual Theology courses each Monday morning which is training the next generation of Christian leaders and pastors for service.
We thank God for each of you and appreciate your prayers and support! May God bless you richly!
En Cristo,
Travis, Tish, Ella, Zachary, Heather and Eli
